Institutional Accreditation
Estonian Aviation Academy passed the last institutional accreditation process in 2020.
The Assessment Committee of
Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education (EKKA) decided on January, 27 2021 that Estonian Aviation Academy
will be accredited for three years, i.e
January, 27 2024.

Study Programme Groups and
Quality Assessment of Study Programme Groups:
Estonian Aviation Academy passed the Quality Assessment of Study Programme Groups (Transport services and Engineering, manufacturing and technology) successfully in 2016 and follow-up evaluation in 2018. Hereafter, the system of
the Quality Assessment of Study Programme Groups was reformed and it was integrated with current institutional accreditation process.

Initial Assessment and Re-assessment of VET Study Programme Groups and Quality Award for workplace-based studies
Estonian Aviation Academy passed the
initial assessment of study programme groups in 2018 and according re-assessment in 2020. More details

Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education web page.

In 2019, Estonian Aviation Academy participated in the pilot project
"Workplace-based studies Recognition in VET"
and was awarded with the Quality Award.
Quality Award is issued by the SA Innove and marks high results in planning, implementing and improving workplace-based vocational education.
The aim of issuing the Quality Award is to recognize schools for actions regarding workplace-based vocational education and motivate schools to plan and implement development activities. In addition, recognizing enables schools demonstrating outstanding results, sharing good practices as well as motivating other schools to improve quality of workplace-based studies.
Aircraft Technician vocational education curriculum is an EQF level 5 programme with a nominal length of 2 years and study volume 120 credit points (1 point is equal to 26 hrs of student's work).
