The Estonian Aviation Academy is looking for a
LECTURER OF UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEMS
who has a learning-centered teaching approach and applies principles of digital pedagogy
The role of the lecturer is to prepare and carry out teaching work and practical training through both face-to-face teaching and e-learning environments, to evaluate work and provide feedback, and to supervise final theses in higher education studies, including EASA Part-66 training and vocational training. The role also involves research and development in the field related to the position, as well as developing cooperation with relevant partners and companies. The position is filled at the level of Associate Lecturer, Lecturer or Leading Lecturer, in accordance with the candidate’s competencies and educational background.
Tasks:
teaching work, including carrying out continuing vocational training and educational development activities, including the development of curricula, study aids and the learning environment;
supervising students;
professional research and development;
business cooperation and helping to popularise the field.
Requirements for the candidate:
Master’s degree or equivalent (in a field related to aeronautics or engineering);
work experience in the field of unmanned aerial systems;
teaching experience and/or pedagogical training;
preferably experience in supervising students and teaching in e-learning environments;
experience of participating in or managing development projects or studies;
good written and oral communication skills in English at the B2 level as a minimum, including proficiency in professional terminology;
excellent digital competence.

Workload: 1.0 (40 hrs per week)
Employment contract type: permanent.
Salary: 2,000 - 2,300 euros (gross) per month.
