ESTONIAN AVIATION ACADEMY is looking for a SIMULATION ENGINEER
whose main responsibilities include developing and managing simulations on Simio software (part-time position)
What you’ll be doing:
participating in international projects involving the simulation of aviation processes;
collaborating with software providers and EAVA partners;
supporting and advising staff and students on the design and development of simulation models.
Your profile and background:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) and/or experience in a technical field related to computer simulation, informatics, geoinformatics, engineering, communication and navigation systems or related quantitative field
experience in developing simulation models and working on simulation projects;
strong IT knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills;
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with team members.
Master’s or Doctoral degree (may be acquiring);
experience in operational analyses;
work experience in an educational institution;
ability to conduct teaching and advising;
knowledge of aviation processes.
