Estonian Aviation Academy welcomes to our team an

AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL MECHANICS AND ANALYSIS LECTURER,
who values the student in their work and uses modern teaching methods.

The purpose of the position is to conduct teaching, research and development activities related to the specialty of aircraft engineering. The main fields of research and teaching are aircraft structural mechanics and analysis. 

The duties of a leading lecturer are:

• teaching and development of aeronautical engineering subjects (both in Estonian and English), including in an e-learning environment;
• supervision and review of students' theses;
• research and development activities in the field related to the position, including participation in a project/research group and participation in curriculum and e-learning development;
• cooperation with partners and companies in the field, and popularisation of the field.

Requirements for applying:

• Master's degree or equivalent;
• professional work experience in the field (competence for teaching in the field of aeronautical engineering);
• completed pedagogical training and teaching experience of at least two years at the higher education level;
• research experience, including at least one article published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal during the last five years, preferably in the field of aviation;
• proficiency in English of at least B2 level, including knowledge of professional terminology in English;
• excellent digital competencies (Ansys, MATLAB, Solidworks/Solidedge/Catia/Fusion360);
• good written and oral self-expression skills.

Workload: 1.0 (40 hours per week)

Employment contract type: permanent

Salary: starting from 2.000 euros (gross) per month.
