As part of your Bachelor's studies in the Commercial Aviation
Management programme, you will learn through hands-on experience by
modelling various processes, using simulation software, and gaining
knowledge about the management of key processes in aviation. This
curriculum addresses different aspects mainly from the airline's point
of view, while also covering a wide spectrum of other topics within the
field of aviation.
The special feature of this programme is the use of solutions based on SIMIO digital software in combination with traditional teaching methods and in some instances replacing them altogether. The acquired theoretical knowledge is put into practice during an internship in a real-life aviation environment.
The international dimension of the programme is enhanced by wide-ranging study opportunities abroad. The Academy has numerous Erasmus+ agreements which enable students to spend a semester at a university abroad.
The versatile curriculum ensures that graduates emerge with a comprehensive understanding in the following aspects of aviation:
The Estonian Aviation Academy has the best ratio of students to lecturers in Estonia (8.5 students per lecturer), which ensures a personal approach and high-quality teaching in a friendly learning environment.
The Academy has modern study facilities where you can find well equipped classrooms as well as a cozy entertainment area, library, café and gym – everything you could wish for to concentrate on your most important task – learning.
Tartu is known as the City of Good Thoughts, Capital of Culture in Estonia and a lively student city. Twice a year in spring and autumn students organise over 150 events during the Student Days, including a boat rally, song festival, Walpurgis Night, student band competitions and student film festival. Because of the compact design of the city centre and the bike sharing system, Tartu has the quaint feel of an easily accessible town.
Since Estonia has been named one of the most advanced digital societies in the world, teaching specific aviation operations through digital simulations and optimisation tasks has been a logical direction.
Our teaching involves a number of recognised experts in the field of aviation, as well as extensive cooperation with other aviation organisations and universities. During your studies, we will support you in your career planning and help you find a place for your internship.
We will make sure that you get a truly unique learning experience while studying at the Estonian Aviation Academy! This bachelor's programme prepares you for a wide range of careers having a broad understanding of aviation and economic activities around it.
Whether it is a small to medium-sized company or some global corporation abroad – we prepare you well for the future job market!
