Study information system (SIS) used at the academy is Tahvel.
Help and information about the study information system Tahvel:
To sign in to Moodle the user has to use an EAVA domain account (which usually is firstname.lastname).
After signing in to Moodle the user can access Moodle courses in which the user is participating or the user can use the password obtained from the teacher to register for the new course. Usually, the teacher adds students to courses automatically.
EAVA email addresses are typically written as firstname.lastname@eava.ee.
All our students have email addresses and Gmail-based mailboxes if the user wants. Users can also forward emails to preferred addresses if he/she so chooses.
If the user's name has any accented characters (ie Õ, Ü, Ž, etc) then those will be replaced with the character without an accent mark. When the same email address already exists, then the newer address will have a number in the end (firstname.lastname.1@eava.ee) to make it unique.
When the student has completed all the studies at EAVA, after 1 month period, the @eava.ee mailbox and email address will be closed and removed by the IT department. If the user wants, then it's possible to copy all the emails from the @eava.ee account to the user's preferred account. Instructions can be found here (in Estonian).
Students can use the printer found in the second-floor lobby, next to the elevator. For printing, the students can use the computer next to the printer. It's possible to scan documents by email.
EAVA public Wi-Fi (Avakosmos) is present in our main study building, UAS laboratory, and hangar.
Students have to use their personal EAVA domain accounts to sign in to EAVA computers (including computer classrooms). If needed, then teachers can and will use different accounts to sign in students (exams, limited access software, etc).
