HOW TO APPLY?
There are many reasons to choose the Commercial Air Transport Pilot programme at the Estonian Aviation Academy (EAVA).

Your professional pilot license (ICAO CPL/ ATPL) and past experience are recognized, granting you 120 ECTS credits through the
Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience Programme. You only need 60 more ECTS to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree. This is achievable in 1 year of full-time study, or up to 3 years if preferred for a lighter workload.
All course content in this program is offered online and asynchronously, providing the flexibility to balance your work and academic commitments.
The Estonian Aviation Academy is an authorized training partner of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Therefore, this curriculum already includes certified IATA courses to further develop your in-depth aviation knowledge.
Our teaching includes the best aviation experts in our region and you will receive dedicated one-on-one and group support from the academic staff throughout your studies.
What will you get from this programme?
We provide you with extensive knowledge in:
- principles of aviation management;
- operations of an aviation company;
- logistics, international economics, marketing, and financial and strategic planning;
- teamwork and communication skills;
- environmental ethics.
The following documents must be submitted electronically via DreamApply by the application deadline:
- online application;
- curriculum vitae (CV);
- a copy of an identity document (passport or ID card);
- a document certifying secondary education and a transcript of results;
- document certifying English language proficiency of at least B2 level;
- document certifying:
- CPL(A) or CPL(H) licence with ATPL theory endorsement or
- ATPL(A) or ATPL(H) licence or
- training documentation that proves passing of CPL(A) or CPL (H) training with ATPL theory. - confirmation/receipt of application fee (€50).

What does the learning process look like?
Studies are carried out using an e-learning platform, Moodle, where every student can access the study materials, submit homework, take tests and communicate with classmates and lecturers.
Independent work plays an important role throughout the whole study period. Lecturers provide students with the necessary instructions, scope and deadlines to successfully pass the courses. Fixed deadlines are set for group work, essays, tests and exams to help you be on track with your studies.
Our students have the opportunity to get personal help and to contact the Office of Academic Affairs for any study-related questions.
