Jakub Hospodka is an associate professor at the Department of Air Transport at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He has been with the department for over 10 years. His research interests include the environmental impacts of aviation, such as contrails, noise abatement, and electrification of aviation. He is also interested in GNSS navigation, with a focus on GNSS interference, such as jamming and spoofing of the navigational signal.
In addition to his research, Hospodka is a chief theoretical knowledge instructor with a university-approved training organization (ATO) responsible for the education of professional pilots. He is also the head of the laboratory of Air Operations and a supervisor for 7 Ph.D. students.
