Estonian Aviation Academyis looking for an
AVIATION SERVICES LECTURER,
who values the student in their work and uses modern teaching methods.
The purpose of the position is to conduct teaching, research, and development activities related to aviation services. The main fields of research and teaching are the effects of unmanned aviation and new technologies in aviation management.
The duties of a leading lecturer are:
teaching and development of aviation services subjects (also in an e-learning environment);
supervision and review of students' theses;
research and development activities in the field related to the position, including leading a project/research group, preparation of project applications, and participation in curricula development, with a focus on modeling, project-based studies, and e-learning;
cooperation with partners and companies, and popularisation of the field.
Requirements for applying:
master degree or equivalent (doctoral degree is preferred);
professional work experience in aviation and/or unmanned aviation (competence for teaching in the field of aviation);
completed pedagogical training of at least 6 ECTS and teaching experience of at least one year at the higher education level;
project management experience and/or experience in leading a research team, preferably including a successful application for a project or applied research funding;
preferably research experience, including at least one article published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal during the last five years, preferably in the field of aviation;
proficiency in English of at least B2 level, including knowledge of professional terminology in English;
excellent digital competencies;
good written and oral self-expression skills.
