This year, the Estonian Aviation Academy graduated:
This year's number of engineering graduates is particularly encouraging. Compared with previous years, the aviation sector will welcome significantly more aeronautical engineering specialists, including graduates in Aviation Information and Telecommunication Technology. Demand for professionals with these skills continues to grow both in Estonia and across the international aviation industry.
The quality of this year's final theses was also exceptionally high. Graduates addressed current and practical challenges in aviation, proposing solutions to advance technology, flight safety, and aviation management. The Academy encourages companies and organisations to share ideas and real-world challenges that could inspire future thesis topics. This enables students to contribute to solving industry challenges during their studies while providing businesses with valuable new perspectives and innovative solutions.
The graduation ceremony also recognised the Academy's most outstanding graduates and celebrated the recipients of several scholarships.
The Council of Rectors of Estonian Universities of Applied Sciences awarded the Best Thesis distinction to Kaspar Päärson for his thesis, "Application of Vertical Wings on Solar Cars for Achieving Additional Thrust from Crosswinds".
The Magnetic MRO Type Training Scholarship was awarded to Aeronautical Engineering graduate Klim Volodin. The scholarship was presented by Marko Männiste, CEO of Magnetic MRO.
The Otto Tauri Pilots' Scholarship was awarded to Jan Marcus Topp.
The Alumni Association Scholarship was presented to Aviation Management graduate Pilleriin Anastasia Anipai.
Congratulations to all graduates and scholarship recipients! We also extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors and partners. Through close collaboration, the Estonian Aviation Academy continues to educate the aviation professionals of tomorrow, with scholarships helping to recognise and support the sector's brightest future talent.
