Panagiotis Mitafidis
Panagiotis is currently a command pilot with Qatar Airways on the Boeing 777. He is rated on the B777 and the B787, with almost 11,000 total flight hours. Panagiotis holds a Bachelor's degree in Professional Flight from the Hellenic Air Force Academy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Factors and Safety from Cranfield University, a Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master of Science in Human Factors in Aviation from Coventry University. His goal is to become a PhD candidate next year at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Robert O. Walton, Ph.D.
Bob Walton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences, College of Business, with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide (ERAU). Formerly, he was the Executive Director of International Campus Operations for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide, and Managing Director of Embry-Riddle Europe GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of ERAU. Before that, Bob was the Associate Dean of Academic Support for ERAU in Europe, where he was responsible for the academic oversight of full-time and adjunct faculty.
Dr. Walton received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Geography. He holds a Master of Aeronautical Sciences and a Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Business Administration from Sacred Heart University Luxembourg, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University.
Dr. Walton has published in numerous academic journals and authored books on air cargo operations, the aerospace industry, and statistics and research methodology. He has presented his research at numerous professional conferences worldwide. Dr. Walton was recognized as Faculty Member of the year in 2010 for Europe and received the Outstanding Accomplishments in Research award in 2012 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide. Finally, in 2019 Dr. Walton was recognized as the Department and College of Business Faculty Member of the year.
