Sander Salmu is the Deputy Secretary General for Mobility at the Estonian Ministry of Climate as well as a member of the advisory board of Nordic Aviation Group AS. He`s responsibilities at the ministry cover aviation and land transport, including both modes road and rail transport.
Previously, he has worked in the private sector as an export and development manager; most recently as the business direction development manager of Ragn-Sells AS and member of management board at Väätsa Prügila. He has worked as the Head of the Transportation and Traffic Division in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and represented Estonia during the Estonian presidency on issues related to road transport and technical requirements for vehicles.
In addition, he has been a member of the advisory board of Eesti Teed AS and worked in the Road Administration. Mr Salmu has a concluded bachelor's and master's degree in transport engineering from the Tallinn University of Technology.
