Educational Development
Climate Engine
Objective/outcome: to strengthen the role of higher education institutions in advancing climate innovation. The project focuses on developing training and mentoring programs in the field of entrepreneurship to promote a sustainable and entrepreneurial mindset among the next generation.
In addition to training programs, one of the project’s key activities is the launch of a student-focused start-up accelerator, providing young people with the opportunity to develop climate-related business ideas in a practical and supportive environment. In the long term, the project aims to integrate entrepreneurship and climate innovation learning materials into university curricula to foster a systemic shift in education.
Within the Climate Engine project, the Estonian Aviation Academy works in close cooperation with the Estonian Business School (EBS), combining expertise in the fields of aviation and entrepreneurship education. The Academy contributes to the development of training and mentoring programs and supports the launch of the student accelerator, with a focus on climate-smart solutions in transport and aviation.
