Objective/outcome: the U-SAVE project is developing an innovative aerial transport solution designed to rapidly and safely deliver life-saving supplies in emergency situations across urban and suburban areas. By bypassing road congestion, this solution improves response times, enhances safety, and makes emergency services more efficient.
The solution incorporates hybrid energy aerial systems combining hydrogen and electric power, thereby leveraging sustainable energy sources to enhance performance and minimize environmental impact. These advanced systems are designed to operate efficiently in complex urban aerial environments, providing a reliable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional terrestrial emergency response methods. The aerial service proposed will be integrated through intelligent and modular software, specially tailored for Air Traffic Management and Urban Air Mobility emergency operations, deploying a robust and resilient solution.
